First established in 2012 by Founder Bill Kaye, inKLine Media provided personalized multimedia services and published a short-lived, monthly magazine–SL Business Review. The crude beginnings of inKLine Media can still be found on SL Marketplace and serve as a cringe reminder of personal improvement.
The production quality of these early publications are less than impressive, but the content garnered attention from media personalities and outlets in Second Life. The virtual media company also led to ‘real-life’ relationships and opportunities for the founder that persist to this day. While this success serves as a testament to the power of SL, it ultimately forced inKLine Media to wind down its operations.
After 14 years, Founder Bill Kaye has resurrected the company in an attempt to share that success with fellow Second Lifers and has mobilized an much larger pool of talented creators to work towards that goal.
inKLine Media will revamp its business model. Most importantly, the organization has transitioned from staffers to utilizing a large network of exceptional freelancers in order to expand the services it offers to potential clients.
At the present moment, inKLine Media will emphasize its core business with providing personalized media services, but it actively continues to develop its own projects for future publication. Stay tuned for all the latest announcements right here on the inKLine Media web-site.
