The Second Life mainland has added 106 new regions since early July, according to a report from Daniel Voyager. According to the data released by Voyager from Sept 13th, that brings the total number of mainland regions to 27,345.

Voyager highlighted the recent statistics on his regular blog:

• The total number of regions increased from 27, 239 to 27, 345 representing net growth of 106 regions over the 70-day period.
• Private Estates increased by 55 regions rising from 17, 777 to 17, 832
• Linden-owned regions increased by 51 regions from 9, 462 to 9, 513
• 655 additional regions to reach the 28, 000 regions milestone

At the current pace, Voyager predicts that reaching over 20K regions will take 14-15 months, but he provides further analysis on his informative blog.
